3006M3: 65KG, 1997, Performance, Watari Museum, Tokyo, Japan

3006M3 is the total volume of the Watari Museum, while my weight is 65KG. I used hundreds of yellow medical tubes normally used for blood transfusions to tie my body to the building. I tried my best to pull down the museum--a symbol of modern civilization--but my body, in return, was pulled back by it.

The body is a proof of identity and also a kind of language.

Other forms of communication are too far removed.
